Itinerary Details



Arrive on January 20, 2024

January 20  Day 1 Arrival in Havana  -  Walking Tour of our hotel location in Vedado and the Malecon. Our Welcome Dinner in a neighborhood restaurant in Vedado included.

January 21  Day 2 Walking tour Old Havana, including Raphael Trejo Boxing Gym, Streets of the Barrio and visit the newly refurbished Capitolio.  A visit to a Ballet Dance rehearsal, artist studio or another photographer’s studio visit if time permits’   Lunch+Dinner on your own

January 22  Day 3 Day trip out of Havana to Hector Luis Prieto Tobacco Plantation, San Juan y Martínez, Cuba including lunch.  On return, a stop at Grabadown a great opportunity to photograph the wonderful Down Syndrome Community in Pinar Del Rio. Back to Havana. (Lunch is not included with our stop at the Plantation,) Dinner on your own

January 23  Day 4 Parque Almendares, Visit Roberto Salas,  Colon Cemetery -  Classic cars Tour  And Dinner on your own this special restaurant in Havana -La Guarida. Lunch + Dinner not included.

January 24 Day 5 Travel to Trinidad. A few stops along the way to photograph and enjoy. Lunch +Dinner  not included

January 25  Day 6 Walking tour of Trinidad , Free time to explore the beautiful cobblestone streets of Trinidad. Lunch + Dinner not included.   

January 26  Day 7 A day trip outside of Trinidad. Lunch + Dinner not included.

January 27  Day 8 Return to Havana visit the famous or should i say Infamous Nacional Hotel at sunset .  Farewell Dinner at the San Cristobal Restaurant,-  Included.

January 28  Day 9 Travel home

The following is included with your cost: Cuban VISA, Airport pick-up in Havana and Airport shuttle back to Havana airport. All Hotel accommodations. All Breakfasts.  -  Welcome dinner, Farewell Dinner and 1 Lunch.  - All in country transportation.  Bottled water when we are traveling in our van.  Medical insurance is available through your Airline ticket.  You MUST hold onto your boarding pass to receive Cuba’s Medical Insurance if you need Medical attention while in Cuba.

12 Days 11 Nights to Explore the following Locations + Hotels*:

Day 1: Casablanca- 1 night - Upon arrival at the airport you will be met by our driver and brought to our hotel for some relaxation and our Welcome Dinner

Day 2: Tangier - 1 night -On our way to Tangier we will stop at Rabat , the capital city for a photo walk. We will then continue our drive along both the Atlantic Coast and the Mediterranean Sea with stops to photograph the coastline until we arrive at our Riad in Tangier. Time to walk the streets and photograph before dinner.

Day 3 +4: Chefchaouen - 2 nights - In the morning we will again do a photo shoot on the streets of Tangier before we begin our journey to the “Blue City” of Chefchaouen our travels will take us through the through the Rift mountains until we reach Chefchaoue. We will settle in to our Raid for our 2 night stay. On our first full day here we will walk the narrow cobble stone streets for some cool blue shots of this incredible city. Day two we will tour another part of the city to walk and photograph.

Day 5 +6 : Fez - 2 nights: -Before breakfast we will hike up the edge of the mountain for some photo work of this Berber town. Return for breakfast then set off to the Cultural and Scriptural capital of Morocco - FEZ. We will stop along the way for some cool photo locations. In the evening, we will have a visit to the Ramparts of Fes for some spectacular views to photograph that overlook of the Medina. Our first day in Fez we will begin with a photo shoot with a some local models in traditional dress that will meet us in our Riad. After the morning shoot it’s time to explore the Walled-in City of Fes, every type of shop possible including the famed Tanneries, the King’s Palace and many ceramic potteries are there for us to to photograph. The next day will be a long travel day through the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Day 7: Merzouga - 1 night -Most of the day will be spent winding our way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as we cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Lots of Photo stops. LOTS of Photo stops. As we make our on the road, the buildings will fade into a dusty pink as we travel down towards the Sahara Desert. When we arrive we will enjoy some sunset pictures over the dunes. Sunrise and sunset at the dunes is well worth the visit!!

Day 8: Sahara Desert Camp - 1 night - Sunrise on the Dunes!! 4x4 dune ride! and a visit to Normadic Berber Village and finally we make to our Authentic Superior Tented Camp. 30min camel trek on the dunes at sunset!!

Day 9: Kashbar Ait Ben Hadfdou - 1 night -From the desert, we will take the SUV back to meet up with our Van. We will head towards Ouarzazate. Along the route, we visit the Todra Gorges (600 ft high). The towering cliffs and beautiful palm tree valley make this a picturesque drive. After Ouarzazate we will head out to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou where you will be ready for the sunset and sunrise. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered...usually off the beaten path. In actuality, this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco; films including, Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and The Gladiator and more recently Game of Thrones.

Day 10 + 11 - Marrakech - 2 nights - Time to wake early for some sunrise pictures over the Kasbah maybe?? . After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Marrakech. In the evening we will head to the square of the medina, the famous Jemaa el-Fna. This is one of the highlights of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouthwatering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. If you would rather observe, you might enjoy a quiet cup of tea on a terrace overlooking the square. Day 11 After breakfast, we will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. This city should be onevery traveler’s bucket list. We will discover the Palace of the Bahia, Maison de La Photographie, Majorelle Gardens and many other hidden treasures. The rest of the day you will enjoy Photographing Marrakech on your own. And our Final Dinner together tonight under the Moroccan Stars! Sleep well my friends!

Day 12 Marrakech to Casablanca (B) Depart for Home
